The CRC32 Library includes a module, CRC32.cpp, that you can freely include in your applications to start performing 32-bit cyclic redundancy checks in no time. By obtaining the current CRC32 image of a file and comparing it with the image obtained from the file when it was in a known untouched state, you can check whether it has been tampered with. File compression utilities such as WinZip™ use this method to verify the integrity of stored files, i.e., to ensure that they are not corrupt.
